I don’t know about you but I’ve never had enough space on my desk for my radios and all my miscellaneous shack peripherals.
But I found a way to stash a few of them! And it was really, REALLY cheap and easy too!
Cooking oil spray can lids! Think PAM spray!
Now I can “hide” my USB Sound Card, paddle and more under the front of my rig, AND I can see my rig at a better reading angle too!
How simple is that?
Check back for more Ham Radio secrets while I go clean some dust off my radios.
Great idea!
So Pam is a lid! Great idea Lumpy. I will give that a try. Those small boxes, controllers never will stay put.
I am sure you know where the expression ‘lid’ came from. Ham was even earlier in telegraphy days. New operators, telegraphers were called hams and also ‘plugs’. Wayne we could have been ‘plug radio’ instead of ham radio.
Take care and thanks for the idea. Happy New Year to you and Natalie.
